BUS 410 Event Management & Marketing

BUS 410: Event Management & Marketing includes the creation of an event management plan for a potential client. A situation analysis will investigate consumer behaviour, targeting and position as related to the planning and operation of events. Further development of the management plan will require an examination and the application of integrated marketing communications, sales, sponsorship, budgeting, risk management, staging, logistics and performance measures.

Prerequisites: ADMN 171 or BUS 370, ADMN 181 or BUS 381, COMM 220 or BUS 320, and COMM 241 or BUS 341 or equivalent with a grade of C or higher.
