Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
- have an understanding of the evolution of English literature from the Restoration (1660) to the late 19th century.
- be able to read, understand, analyse and write about this literature.
Additional Assessment Notes: Letter grades of C- to A+, P (pass), and F (fail) will be used. "I" (incomplete) may be given to the student who is unable to complete course assignments by the end of the semester because of illness or another valid reason, but only after consultation with the instructor. A "W" (withdraw) can be obtained by withdrawing from the course before the College deadline for withdrawals.
