ECCE 168 Clinical Practicum I is designed to integrate theories and practices in the ECCE field. Students will observe and participate in regional early childhood programs in the community. Students participate alongside and under the guidance of licensed ECCE’s. The clinical practicum provides opportunities to learn about observing and recording children’s individual abilities and interests overtime; reflective practice; and professional conduct.
Prerequisites: Acceptance into the ECCE Program
Corequisite: Concurrent enrolment in ECCE 178, 188, HSER 174, FAM 180, and PSYCH 100.
