Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
- become knowledgeable with product development;
- understand various methods of production;
- acquire skills around the design process: translating ideas onto paper, prototypes and samples;
- understanding of production plans: – suitable materials, prototypes and limited production runs; and
- become acquainted with pricing: contemporary market issues & finding a niche for your product in a wholesale and a retail environment.
