Admissions Procedures

Selkirk College academic programs use one of the following admissions processes to confirm acceptance to a program:

• Open Admissions – is not competitive or have a limited number of seats and students are accepted on a first qualified first admitted bases.
• Limited Admissions – is not competitive but has a limited number of seats and students are accepted on a first qualified first admitted bases.
• Competitive Admissions – is competitive whereby students are accepted based on approved selection criteria and may be associated with an application deadline. Meeting the minimum requirements for admission does not guarantee acceptance to the program.

Application Dates & Deadlines – Applications generally open one year in advance of the start of all academic programs.
