Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to:

1. identify theoretical and historical origins of Sociology;
2. develop awareness of environmental issues and sustainable solutions;
3. exhibit professional behaviours such as respect for colleagues, punctuality, willingness to think independently, and pride in presentation of work;
4. describe how individuals are shaped through basic processes of culture, socialization, micro-level social interaction and organizational life;
