PGCM 099 College Orientation

PGCM 099: College Orientation will introduce students to the Selkirk College campus experience and will include orientation to the computer lab and various software programs, learning resources and study skills, and an introduction to Canadian culture.

Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to:

  3. describe the key components of academic integrity: academic honesty, no plagiarism, proper citations;
  4. develop time management strategies to ensure success in the PGCM program;
  5. develop personal study skills and strategies to succeed in completing academic studies; and
  6. value an overview of Canadian culture.
