Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to:

1. identify a contradiction in Canadian Society that is significant for you, the discipline and society;
2. acknowledge Indigenous ways of knowing and being; and
3. develop awareness of enviornmental issues and sustainable solutions.
4. develop an analysis of this contradiction from a sociological perspective that is macro, historical, and critical;
5. demonstrate their ability to generate written arguments supported with quality academic materials from appropriate databases;
6. demonstrate critical thinking skills and formulate your ideas both verbally and in written form;
7. exhibit professional behaviours such as respect for colleagues, punctuality, willingness to think independently, and pride in presentation of work;
