WEB 101: Agile Project Management introduces students to the principles and methodology of an agile approach to project management. By applying this approach to a real-life or simulated project students learn how to create an adaptive project environment that responds to continually changing requirements, reduces risk and enhances the quality of project delivery. Emphasis is on documenting project planning and process and using tools to enhance project management and collaborative work.

Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
- identify projects where agile methods are beneficial and those where they are not;
- define a project’s vision and scope;
- review, estimate, and prioritize user stories;
- articulate project needs, assign roles and responsibilities, allocate resources and manage resource gaps;
- identify and manage project risk;
- create a communication, iteration and release plan using agile methodologies;
- prepare a project schedule for an agile project when the scope is still uncertain; and
- identify metrics that can be used to track project performance and accurately forecast future outcomes.
