Essential English develops practical skills in reading, writing and communicating. These skills will enable students to perform the tasks required by their occupation and other aspects of daily life. Upon completion of this course, students are prepared for entry to Selkirk College’s Health Care Assistant program. This course qualifies for the BC Adult Graduation Diploma, but it is not recommended for entry into most academic post-secondary education programs.
