Intermediate Mathematics provides a solid foundation in number operations. Topics include estimation, measurement, fractions, ratio and proportion, percent, geometry, statistics, signed numbers, exponents, algebra, trigonometry, graphing and polynomials. This course prepares students for most trades programs or to take Math 56/57 Foundations Mathematics ' Advanced Level. Available in Castlegar, Grand Forks, Kaslo, Nakusp, Nelson, and Trail. Prerequisites: Math 49 or equivalent.
