MATH 49: Intermediate Algebra provides an introduction to algebra. Topics include a review of number functions, followed by an introduction to real numbers, equations and inequalities, polynomials, rational expressions, graphing linear equations and inequalities and systems of equations. A brief introduction to trigonometry completes this course. Completing this course prepares students for Math 50.
Prerequisites: Math 46 or equivalent skill level.
