CERM 101 Wheel 1 is an introduction to working on the wheel. Contemporary methods of altering forms, surface treatments, and handbuilt additions will be emphasized.

Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
- Demonstrate the ability to make basic forms on the wheel as well as alter and add to these basic existing forms. Students will also have demonstrated their understanding of the theory and practice of loading, firing, and unloading electric kilns
