NURS 370 and 470: Consolidated Practice Experiences (CPE) III & IV are designed to provide opportunities for participants to integrate, consolidate and expand concepts from previous learning. Participants have opportunities to consolidate learning from the first, second and third years of the program in a variety of settings and with any of age or type of client.
Prerequisites: Successful completion of study semester 6 of the Nursing program.

Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
- integrate, consolidate and expand upon concepts studies in all Health and Healing, Nursing Practice, Professional Practice, Relational Practice, Health Sciences and elective courses;
- develop caring relationships with individuals, families, groups and/or communities focusing on the people’s experiences of health, healing and health promotion;
- understand the role of the professional/registered nurse as a member of a multi-disciplinary and inter-sectoral team;
- collaborates with other members of the multidisciplinary team to promote health and healing;
- advance practice by focusing on enhancing knowledge, competence, and confidence in the domains of nursing practice;
- work with moderate levels of client and contextual complexity under moderate levels of supervision; and
- ensure continuity of care through collaboration with patient, family, and other health professionals in an interprofessional setting.
