GOAL 03 Goal Setting for Transitions for Adult Living 3 continues to offer students the opportunity for individualized learning. Students continue to set learning goals within the scope of skills development in literacy, numeracy, computer technology and/or adaptive functioning. Students will be building upon the learning skills mastered in GOAL 02.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to:

  1. set an individualized multi-step learning goal that builds upon past learning successes and areas of growth;
  2. identify areas of success and areas for future growth and learning within the individualized goal area;
  3. highlight a learning strategy that builds for future learning goals;
  4. demonstrate independence when completing a basic skill in the classroom;
  5. engage in an organized learning environment within new specific goal area; and
  6. demonstrate a basic level of skill in literacy, numeracy, computer technology and adaptive functioning.

Grade Description
AAV ABOVE AVERAGE -The student has mastered all or most course objectives/requirements in a minimum time frame and has exemplified good work and study habits.
COM COMPLETE – denotes that the student has mastered a satisfactory number of course objectives/requirements in a non-credit course
CRG CREDIT GRANTED - denotes that the student performance was satisfactory in a credit course.
NCG NO CREDIT GRANTED - denotes that the student performance was unsatisfactory.
PCG PARTIAL CREDIT GRANTED – denotes that the student has successfully completed a portion of the course objectives in a credit course.
