JEWL 112: Add More Bling: Intermediate Gem Setting introduces students to more advanced and creative settings, allowing the use of a more exciting range of gemstones in jewelry. Where appropriate, historical and/or contemporary design relating to jewelry will be discussed.

  1. set facetted gemstones in a variety of commercial and handmade settings (for example: claw, wire, surface, bead); and
  2. incorporate these into jewelry pieces
