EASL 092C Canadian Studies is a multi-level interactive communicative seminar for students who are interested in learning more about Canada. Students study such topics as the geography, history, culture and politics of Canada. Students are able to learn more about Canada in relation to their home country and culture.

Corequisite: Current enrolment in the English Language Program.

Upon successful completion of this course, the learner will be able to:
- learn about Canadian life through experiential studies.
- refine their English speaking and listening skills as they interact in a variety of ways within and outside of the classroom.
- deepen their understanding of Canadian culture by listening to guest speakers.
- improve their ability to interact with native English speakers by visiting local landmarks whenever possible.
- learn about Canadian idioms, culture, and geography.
